Welcome to Thompsons Treasures. These Terms & Conditions apply when you place an order through our website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
1. About Thompsons Treasures
Thompsons Treasures is a UK-based small business specialising in personalised gifts and products. We currently accept orders for delivery within the UK only.
2. Placing an Order
Please check all details carefully before completing your purchase.
When you place an order through our website, payment is required in full at checkout. Once your order has been successfully placed, you will receive an order confirmation using the contact information provided.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order where we are unable to fulfil it, for example where an item is unavailable or we cannot complete the requested personalisation.
3. Personalised & Made-to-Order Products
Many of our products are created specifically for you and may include names, dates, photographs, wording, designs or other personalisation.
Please double-check all spelling, dates, numbers and other information before placing your order.
Products will be personalised using the information you provide. We cannot normally provide a refund or replacement where an item has been correctly produced according to information supplied by the customer but that information contained an error.
If you notice a mistake after ordering, please contact us as soon as possible. If production has not started, we will do our best to make the requested change, but this cannot be guaranteed.
4. Customer-Supplied Photographs & Designs
Where photographs or images are required, please provide the best-quality version available. The finished quality may depend on the quality and resolution of the image supplied.
We may need to resize, position or crop an image so that it fits the chosen product correctly.
By supplying photographs, images, wording or designs, you confirm that you have the necessary permission or rights for us to use them to fulfil your order.
5. Processing Times
Our usual processing and personalisation time is 3–5 working days, depending on the product and personalisation required.
Processing times are separate from delivery times and may occasionally be longer during particularly busy periods.
6. Delivery
We currently deliver within the UK only.
Orders are normally dispatched using Royal Mail. Delivery times are estimates and are in addition to our usual processing time.
Please ensure that the delivery address supplied when ordering is complete and correct. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible.
7. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
Personalised and custom-made products are generally excluded from the normal change-of-mind cancellation right because they have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
Eligible non-personalised products purchased online may be subject to statutory cancellation and return rights.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, not as described, or we have made an error when producing your personalisation, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please provide your order number and photographs of the problem where appropriate so that we can investigate and arrange an appropriate solution.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights.
9. Product Images & Colours
We make every reasonable effort to display our products accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your device, screen settings and the materials used.
Because many products are handmade or individually personalised, slight variations in positioning or appearance may occur.
10. Prices & Payment
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).
The price charged will be the price shown when your order is placed, subject to correction of obvious pricing errors.
Payment must be made in full through the payment methods available at checkout.
Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
11. Website Use
The content, product photographs, designs and other material on the Thompsons Treasures website must not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission, except where the material belongs to another rights holder.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version available on our website when you place your order will apply to that order, subject to applicable law.
